A summer vacation to remember

The best holidays I’ve ever had were about 8 years ago. My sister and I were to travel with my grandparents, they have a beach house in El Tabo, San Antonio, we go there every summer vacation, it’s like our little tradition, to spend a few weeks together and just go away from the civilization. But this vacation was special. I honestly don’t remember a lot of details, but I k now for sure I had the best time ever. 

First, we had a little time alone, the 4 of us, then my aunt passed by and spend a few days with us. Later, my two grand cousins came for the first time; we met each other and share a lot. Finally, my dad came to stay for the rest of the week until we have to leave.

In those three amazing weeks, I swam and climbed rocks, I had the best time ever, eating “palmeras” and “sopaipillas”, telling ghost stories and visiting a big and kind of mysterious forest.

I was 10 years old when I had my first of many adventures, my first of many awesome experiences, when I met an incredible people and had the most fun with them.

}I can wait for my next summer vacations and see if I can top this one.

New York New York...

My favorite place in the world is one of the most popular one, I love all the areas from it, such as media, art, fashion, research, technology, education, and entertainment.

The first time I knew about New York City was from movies, famous films and TV series. Perhaps what most attracted me were all the lights and people. Every time I watch, hear or remember the city it comes up to my head all kinds of words; life, joy, pleasure, hilarity, excitement, commotion… I could go on forever.

If I ever have the chance to go there, it will be to live at an apartment on my own, walking around and visiting all the places possible. I would also work at a magazine or something related to fashion, and write columns about my experiences to share with everybody.  Also, maybe as a photographer or a film maker. Or even as an actress searching to the road to success. 

 I hope that, in a future not too far away, this dream will come true and would live at this amazing city that I love.

It’s a little bit hard to resume up my first semester. It seems far away from now, but it was only a few months ago. I remember that I was a little bit nervous and exited at the same time, but as the time went by my joy and stress were equally increasing.I don’t recall having a lot of free time, but the ones I had I made them worth it. I even went to parties and had trips to the beach, enjoying time with my family and friendsOne of my major problems about studying were because of the stress that the university brings with it, a few of my classes were tough, and some of them even tougher, but hey! I’m still alive and continuing working hard, moving forward and seeing all the positive things that my future is having for me.
